Donut Deck

Match the donuts. Seal the box. Deliver it before they do.

How to play · Play online with friends · Play the AI

Watch one box get delivered

  1. Pull a card off your deck
  2. Rotate until the donuts line up
  3. Place it against what is already down
  4. Close the box — no gaps left anywhere
  5. Deliver it, and the box turns your colour
  6. Score it, and the counter remembers

Today’s special

  1. Build boxes of matching donuts
  2. Close them off completely
  3. Deliver them for points
  4. Win the counter

That is the whole game. The rest is where you put the card.

Then it gets interesting

Five techniques separate a first game from a fiftieth.

  • RotationFour ways to lay every card. One closes your box; another opens theirs.
  • TimingA box scores the instant it seals. Waiting a turn often scores more.
  • BlockingDelivered boxes freeze. Seal early and you wall off the ground too.
  • OpeningEvery card you lay down is an edge somebody else can build on.
  • ForcingLeave them no legal move and they lose the turn swapping a card.

Bring it to your table

Sixty cards, two decks, no screen. The browser game is the rulebook you can play; the box is the one you can hand over.
